Free Raleigh

A group of Peregrine Falcons, re-introduced to Raleigh after having their population wiped out by local farming practices, wanted to make a website that would help spread politically progressive and radical ideas throughout the area.

The Falcons working at first independently of the Internest Collective, designed a website that seemed very angry and very, very serious. Many Humans were wary of the site and mostly just skipped over it.

The collective learned of the Falcons' plight and decided to help them with the design and content. The site was in dire need of some color, so the Orchard Orioles, Scarlet Tanagers, Indigo Buntings, Blue Grosbeaks, American Goldfinch and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds all pitched in and designed the site as it looks today.

The tiny acorn creatures through out the Free Raleigh site were also designed by the birds to help make people smile and not feel hopeless when thinking about Raleigh, the city of oaks.

The collective's Great Flamingos are currently working closely with the Falcons to tone down the very angry and very, very serious content for the website, to make it more accessible to humans. But, it is taking a very, very, very long time.
